Designed by three parents from the Natural Parenting Center to help children develop an understanding of their feelings and the feelings of others, Feeleez is more than just a game or toy, it is a learning tool that raises emotional intelligence and awareness. By being able to identify their own feelings with pictures, children of all ages learn to accept the intensity of their own emotions even before they can articulate it, and parents and caregivers learn to validate the child's feelings, however they are expressed. Empathy is the foundation for compassion and a vital component of emotional intelligence, as well as essential for the greater community and part of creating a humane, peaceful and sustainable world.

Feeleez Game

The Feeleez game includes 25 matching pairs of vibrant Feeleez cards that are sustainably produced and responsibly made using recycled cardboard, reusable tins, and soy-based ink. Start with a simple matching game but then step back and watch your children take the lead. Kids enjoy sorting feelings by type, acting out scenarios, picking favorites, constructing “feeling walls”, and more. Included is a helpful guide with several game ideas as well.

In our home, the kids sometimes pick where they are right now, where they want to be, and then line up cards in succession to determine how to get there. It is a simple but profound way to take ownership of one's own feelings in the moment and immediately calms the intensity of the situation. We love Feeleez!

Feeleez Poster

The Feeleez poster is beautiful just as decoration alone, but is also an amazing learning tool! A large 22 x 28 inches, with all 25 colorful Feeleez kids represented, hang the poster low on the wall so your children can pick which kid (or combination of kids) they are feeling like, learn new feeling words, and settle conflict all on their own. There is a vocabulary list included to get you started.

In our home, we have hung up our Feeleez poster on the inside of our front door so it is right in the middle of the living room, where most of our daily interactions occur. Having it always available really does help remind everyone in the family to connect with our feelings. Printed in the United States with soy-based ink, and perfect for classrooms, too!
