13 Year Nomadiversary!!

13 years ago today we said goodbye to suburbia and sold or mostly gave away everything we owned to live a life more traveled. 13 years ago today we packed up our kids into a 250 sq ft RV to call the road our home. 13 years ago today we birthed the Eco Womb, a way to connect with others and share our passion for eco-safe and non-toxic living, by creating a home as safe as a Mama’s womb. 13 years ago today we started our educational non-profit and began a decade of working events and festivals that took us across the country several times over. 13 years ago today we said yes to our biggest leap of faith and our greatest adventure 🚎💫💙

Celebrating our 13 year Nomadiversary looks a little different today, as the boys are curled up in their cozy home in the middle of a blizzard in Colorado, and we played in our yard with the rest of the kiddos, then got smoothies together and caught a magical sunset over the bay near our beach house in Florida. But, like always, we stay connected by living a heart-centered life, and prioritize the journey not the destination. It’s actually been a beautiful journey being a part of our family’s evolution. The boys growing up and flying the nest, choosing the mountains for us to land. Then, again spreading wings to go after our long-held dream of having a home by the beach. I never would have guessed it would be here, where Clint and I met almost 30 years ago, but my goodness, it feels so right 💙

Like full-circle, following our hearts back to where we fell in love. Creating a home base for our kids to land when they aren’t out adventuring or traveling the world. A place where we can stretch and grow and still take off on adventures when the mountains thaw out and we go back to see our people. 13 years ago today we hit the road for full-time travel, now we are beach life’in it, planning some fun road-trips, and instead of snow-birding it, I think I’m gonna call it sun-birding ☀️ Following the sun to keep the heart warm, chasing the dreams because why the heck not, and working hard to play harder. My advice for anyone new to road life, always ALWAYS follow your dreams, evolve with them as you grow, and go where your heart leads!
