Happy Holidays!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from our family to yours! We hope you are having a wonderful holiday and enjoying family, friends, fun, food, and all the festivities that the holiday season brings.

We want to thank you for all of your support in 2009 as we continued to grow our little business. We are proud of all of the changes to Eco Womb this past year, including being able to switch all of our clothing line over to 100% Made in the USA Organic Cotton. We also added several new products to our store - Feeleez, a beautifully designed empathy game for children; Charlie's Soap, the safest, non-toxic, biodegradable laundry detergent; the Humanity Organics Family Sleeper, an organic bed-top sleeper that is a must for safely using a family bed and supporting extended breastfeeding; Go GaGa Recycled Diaper Bags, which help you carry your gear just like you would your baby in a sling; and, just in time for the holidays - a line of safe, quality and sustainable wooden toys made in the USA from Maple Landmark Woodcraft. Based out of Middlebury, Vermont (our old stopping ground, and where our first son was born :-) Maple Landmark is a small business that offers an alternative to buying imported and buying plastic. So if you are looking for natural wooden toys made in the USA, look no further, it's what we give our kids, it's what we now offer to you.

This year we also launched our blog (thanks for joining us here :-), and we are now on Facebook and Twitter where you can continue to follow our journey. With such a growing community of like-minded souls that want to do better for their children and for our planet, we feel blessed to have connected with so many amazing people this year. We attended the ABC Kids Expo in Las Vegas this year, as well as the Living Green Fair in Dania Beach, FL and met so many great individuals with green businesses and ideas that will surely help energize a more sustainable market in years to come. We also had our first major advertisement in Mothering Magazine in the Nov/Dec issue and as a small family business felt so much support by their staff as we tried to connect with the world's largest natural parenting forum. And, even with all of these exciting additions this year, we are even more excited about 2010! We will soon be carrying the same cloth diapers and wipes and wipe solution that we use on our precious baby girl, and hope to customize our clothing and accessory line even more by being able to provide it locally instead of just online. We also plan on expanding our resource list and provide more ways on how you can live more simply. We have been inspired to make some great changes for our family this year so stay tuned and check back often as we have many things up our sleeves.

Happy New Year! And may 2010 bring peace, love, joy, and hope to your family and beyond!
